In-spite of the fact that I "asked" them to invite me, I was very happy to get the invitational email stating that I was "invited" to join Pinterest!

Honestly, I don't really understand it, but I do feel that it will do lots to help people discover each other much easier and faster (And I'm all for networking) :)

So I went out to "Pin my interests" (as I liek to say) and I had fun, but I'm not trully sure if this is something that I will really get into doing...hmmm

Shop Talk: It Would Be So Easy...

With the baby now here, and with her occupying the majority of my time I could easily slip into a state of mind that gives justification to not working on my business or blog. But first of all I have taking a few to many blog breaks lol
Secondly when I stop it is much too hard to start back up. And, I am determined to get this done sometime before never lol

I want to follow through with what I have set out to do, for myself, and also for my daughter. I want to be someone she can look up to :)

Also on a side...
I would like to go ahead and give a BIG Thank You to those of you who commented on my last Shop Talk post :) Your words were very uplifting and helpful (also at times funny lol) And, I want you all to know that I truly look up to you :)

My Wish List For Baby!

My little small fry baby is going to have her first Christmas this year and I'm so excited!

We took her out for the first time last Friday, and she did so well :)
I was so happy with her that I wanted to go and get her something lol I asked her what she wanted, but all she did was look at me with her big little eyes...so we decided to get her a bouncy chair!

There are a few other things around online that I have seen that I want to get for her, so I thought I would share my baby wish list with you all :)

These little cute booties by lilalila have been under my radar for a while now, isn't the design so great! I know her little feet would look much cuter in these than they do in those little sockies!

I would just have to find an outfit to go with them...


This Print by Sugar Fresh would look so nice over her crib on the shelf...that plan to get...hee hee

I love little hats on her! Thank the Lord for winter, because she gets to wear them all the time...WIN!

I'm loving the Bubble Gum Pink of this beanie by Creative Dragonfly:)



This little head band by Petite Fleurs is so precious! Lace is my favorite, so of course I'm sure it's her favorite too lol

And, of course every little bitty needs a stuffed animal :) And, this little bunny by Bare Sock Crafts is so perfect...le sigh...

These are just a few things on my long list of wants for my little precious :) But I have to remember not to spoil her too rotten ;)

She's Done It Again...

StripyKat, my handbag hero has done it yet again, she has made a bag that makes me wish that I had money...so many tears...

Ladies Night In Spa Party!

A little while back I was asked by Savoir Affaire Event Planning to lend my hand in helping Design A few of their events. Well, of course I snatched up the opportunity, I love designing spaces(hey, it was my major lol).

I'm happy to finally have a bit of time to share the photos of the event with you all :)


You can't really see it from this photo but there are chairs on both sides. There were different sections for manicures, pedicures, an facials. We wanted to be in a circle so that everyone could interact with one another.

This was from a somewhat corporate game night. Fun to watch believe me lol

Man I started this post at 10am...yeah....

Shop Talk: Why Not?

Yesterday I went on my Facebook Fan Page (yes, I called it a fan page) and one of my Fans, who happens to be my best friend told me..."You should sign up at etsy.com. It's a site where you can buy and sell homemade products through Paypal."

In all actuality I have an etsy shop...there is just nothing in it... Which I suppose is like not having one at all...bleh I would just rather not pay fees to be seen amongst a sea of other sellers only to be than engorged by that sea and the only way to surface is to renew renew renew.


That is why I'm spending so much time on this website so that I can get it right and sell from my own site and drive traffic to my own site :) It is sooo taking forever and everyone (sometimes including my fiance :P ) tells me that I should probably give up on the idea of my own site...buuut, NAH I know for sure when I get everything together that it is going to work out and I won't mind putting in the work to draw traffic to my site b/c it will be MINE :)


So my answer to her was "hmm...i dont think im an etsy person but i have some stuff on http://www.cargoh.com/store/structured-chaos, i need to add some more though."

Yes, it's true I have items on Cargoh...I'm thinking about taking them down, b/c I actually don't know exactly how I want to use my Cargoh shop yet...urgh...oh well.

Whew! That's a lot of words..my bad everybody that's so not like me lol

Discover: Mienkintosh Fairie

I have actually had the privilege of meeting and befriending Aja the owner of Mienkintosh Fairie. And, when she told me that she had just opened her shop on etsy I had to jump at the chance to share her work!

We met up a little while back and she showed me a few of her items and they are so well made I and she puts so much thought into everything behind them. So I know for sure that I am sharing quality work with my readers :)

Oh and she is having a 15% off sale up until December 4th on all dolls and bags.

So this is my favorite bag in her shop, so you know I had to shed some light on it. Red after all is my favorite color!

And this is my favorite bunny doll, it cut it really close with Bunny Gaga but in the end Kia Lox won out for me, gotta love all of those colors! (Yes, a am a stuffed animal person :D )
